This did not give me essence absolue, it gives me regular Alien smell (the original alien). This seems to be missing the creamy vanilla smell essence absolue has, definitely disappointed with this purchase. I was so happy to find a dupe that I ordered the 100mL but I wish I didn’t because the scent I’m looking for is not there.

VERY CLOSE I had to add a couple drops of myrrh essential oil and the vanilla they used in all the aliens(iso butavan) it was perfect.

Essence absolue was my signature fragrance since 2012 and I was absolutely distraught when Mugler decided to discontinue EA in 2019. Since then, I have regularly looked for perfumes that smell even similar to EA and found nothing - until now! This smells exactly like the original Essence Absolue!! Do not buy the last overpriced Mugler rest on ebay but instead definitely order from here. I am so happy to have my favourite fragrance back and will keep buying from here!!

This smells exactly like the original from the opening to the dry down. To whomever is buying the discontinued Alien Essence Absolue for 3-4 times the retail price, stop!!! Order this one immediately, you will not regret it.
