I have only smelled the original in the store, and this version is amazing. I wore this to work and had both men and women make the same comments, wow someone smells good as I walked by. One of my new favorite scents, long staying power as well.

Ahh.. How do I put this; this is very close to the original, and yet this has some sharp characteristics to it (which dies down).
On my skin, this smells more like an almond-based fragrance, must be due to that sharp metallic, glassy note, but the original is much smoother. But hell, get this. This also has its charms.

This is as close you can get to baccarat rouge 540 without being BR540. It has little less performance than original beast but that isn't saying less about it. It still lasts 12+ hours on skin. Very impressed and looking for more A+ grade oils of popular fragrances.
