I don't know what the original smells like but this smells really good to me. It is a grown up gourmand fragrance. If you like almonds and tonka beans, then you'll most likely appreciate this. I would describe it as a gooey, slightly boozy, decadent tonka bean fragrance. I removed a star because I would not personally rate its quality as an A++ fragrance in comparison to all the perfume oils I have tried.

Best perfume of all time! Elegant feminine fragrance for a lady who knows what she wants. An oriental and sweet scent that you can smell all day long.
