I've had the 5ml roll-on for over two weeks now, and after a more in-depth comparison to the real Aventus, I must sadly say that my opinion has changed and this is only about 50% close to the original. I hoped the oil would become better after about two weeks as I've read some places, but this is not nice at all. I get a soft but weird sour-type smell that I suspect is the fact that it's an oil and not classic alcohol spray. It's very dominant to a sweet pineapple-type smell, but it's very flat and there is not much smokiness. After like 5 hours it bears more resemblance to the OG, but at that point it's only a skin scent. I recommend trying this as an alcohol spray version, or try getting the 2013 batch inspiration as that is most likely a better version than this. This is the only oil I was disappointed with from my order, everything else was nice so give it a try.

5ml roll-on: I agree with Enrico H. The opening is very fruity compared to my decant of Aventus. It's the first time I can clearly smell the pineapple opening of the Aventus DNA, and I don't know if that says something about Creed's batch variations or this oil, but I can tell it will be very pleasant to apply after taking a shower.
The dry-down however is 1:1 with Aventus. It's 98% similar to my decant, and the only difference I notice is that the original is slightly more birch-heavy, but that depends on what batch you're comparing with. That is a microscopic difference anyways, and therefore I say it's 1:1 with Creed's Aventus.
This is well worth your money, good job GP! I will be posting later with longevity and projection.

Received this as a gift. And I have to say first thank you Generic perfumes and second the opening is not the same than the original it's sweeter but after 15 minutes it's exactly the same. I'd say this oil is longer lasting than the original.

This impression of Creed's Aventus is awesome. I have the original (batch 17 N0. 1). They are very close indeed.
But comparing the closeness of Generic Perfumes' impression to the Original fragrance, in my humble opinion, detracts from the enjoyment of Generic Perfumes' impression. I just like looking at Generic Perfumes' impressions as stand-alone fragrances and enjoy them without mentally comparing them to the "real thing", as some reviewers say. That way, I really enjoy these impressions.
I have tried other clones of Aventus; whereas I have enjoyed their opening, I have never truly liked the dry down. And slowly my interest in Aventus was waning...until yesterday when I wore the Grade A+ spray that I recently bought from Generic Perfumes. The opening was to die for and the dry down was very pleasant indeed. I felt like I was in some kind of heaven. My interest in Aventus has been revived!
