I have so many rose based scents/oils in my collection but I keep trying new ones to see how else can they interpret rose in a scent. This is your typical rose scent that has slight fruitiness up top but then goes on to become spicy rose scent. Nothing more, nothing less.

Overall, if you like rose based scents which are somewhat syrupy rose but not overly sweet then this might be the one to try. I get about 6hr to 7hr performance with moderate use. Never tried original so unable to compare.
